Alinta Energy required a refurbishment of the Condenser Return Water Boxes during the 2020 outage.

AsClear removed all the old internal coating and repaired cavities in the internal walls by use of a metal filler before spray applying a 2-part epoxy coating suitable for immersion. Once the outage was over and the units back in operation AsClear painted the external surfaces to make them look new again.

AsClear initiated the use of vacuum trucks and encapsulation of all openings to contain dust to just inside the Water Boxes. As a result, no dust migrated to other areas of the Turbine House.
